Final monday of high school

(taken from google images)

Today is finally a good day. Well most days are good but its a good day in the world of high school. Today is the final monday of most high school seniors high school days. Its a bittersweet day for most of us, but I for one can say my final monday of high school is being spent at a place I dont actually hate. Hello parent absent days, and cosmetology school.

For todays post I figured I would write a few things, first is a list of the final things I have to do before my orientation for college (eek!), as well as (insert other topics here)

This time of the year is pretty crazy for everyone, so to help you feel like you are not alone here are a list of everything I have to do in like the next 3 weeks.

1. Turn in Senior Portfolio
2. Take final in Econ (it's the only class that didnt have me do a project.)
3. Some how catch up on cosmetology hours (kinda doing that today)
4. Turn in my final Psychology paper
5. finish getting everything for BOTH of my graduation parties (the struggles of having divorced parents that dont get along)
6. Go camping to get away the weekend before graduation (already working on that one)
7. Work seven days straight to be able to have that weekend off to go camping (yeah trust me that part sucks)
8. Finish my last few days of high school
9. Last walk on the last day of school (im gonna end up crying)
10. Pick up graduation party cake from work.
11. GRADUATION!!!!!!!!!!!
12. Graduation party #1 with my mommy
13. Graduation party #2 with my dad
14. Work for like a day
15. Pack my bag for orientation

I just want to take a second to split from what this post would normally be about (college and high school) to write to you guys about my boyfriend. He ties in with every day of my life, but specifically this final monday of high school. He as been with me through a lot and I think that it is time I take a moment and let you guys get to know him from my perspective.

My boyfriend is the best boyfriend in the world. I know a lot of girls will say that, but it is true he is the best that there ever is and no one else could ever have the best boyfriend because he is already taken. :)

When he and I first met it was after weeks of his persistent trying to get me to go hang out with him. He was a friend of a friend and I knew he wasnt a serial killer or anything, however hanging out with him by myself just seemed weird. I finally one day gave in though and I am glad that I did come in. He will admit, and I already knew, that when we first got together I was just supposed to be used to get over his ex. Truthfully I was in the same boat, but I had already basically moved on. The day I met him I knew that I wanted to be with him. It took him a bit longer but he finally realized he wanted me as well.

On the day of my graduation we will have been together for six months, and those were some of my worst times. He had so many reasons to leave me, yet he never did and I love him for that.

To my boyfriend:
I want to thank you for always loving me through my darkest days and being patient with me through thick and thin.

I saw this earlier today and it is truthfully everything I want to ever thank him for in one sentence. I think if anyone was to see him and I together, especially when we are by ourselves, they would see that despite everything I put him through and despite how much we argue we truthfully have found the best in eachother. We laugh all the time, and play around, and all around just always have fun. He is my biggest supporter, even though he hasnt always been around, and I will truthfully miss him when I leave for school.

There are a lot of emotions that I have going through my head today on this final monday. How I am glad to be done with school, how that means I actually never have to go back to the high school, how I am going to be leaving my friends, how I am going to be starting college in a new town, and how I am going to not be able to see my boyfriend everyday like I am used to. It is all going to be a big adjustment but truthfully I am glad that this final monday of high school has finally come.
