My Current Projects

So I havent been much into blogging recently just because I have been busy with school and because spring break was last week. So I figured I could give you guys a quick post on a list of projects I am currently working on (both in school and out).

1. Boy friend tag- This one is gonna take me a bit of time because I still have to talk the boyfriend into wanting to do it. 

2.Student led units- I have to teach a unit to my Econ class. Someone hurt me now.

3. Crocheting a blanket!- So this one started awhile ago, but I still am not too far. I need to get it done.

So that is my short list of things I am currently working on. I start college on June 11 so I will hopefully have more to write about at that point. Oh and 46 days of highschool. Lets get a move on with this.

Rainy days and Graduation

"Rain, Rain, go away, come again another day." 

This is exactly how I am feeling right now. It was raining yesterday but not too bad, and when I woke up at 4 this morning (to hail and thunder and lightening, oh my!) I was not a happy camper. I knew that it was supposed to storm today, but I was hoping I could at least make it through lunch before it happened, but no. I started on my way to school at 7:40 this morning and already by 7:45 905 of the road I have to take to school was flooded. Now as a back ground to my town it was built on a swamp, so it is almost always got standing water somewhere, but for whatever reason in the recent two years it has started to flood even more. After a flood day last year, yes a flood day, they started to replace all the sewer systems in hopes of keeping it from happening again. Well I am thinking that it didnt help considering in 6 hours of raining it was already flooded and we have to get through all of today and all of tomorrow before this rain ever stops.

Now to make the day even more fun, I have to leave in a down pour to go to my cosmetology school, which doesnt have a parking lot so we have to park at apartments that are a block or two away. Not gonna be a happy camper today for that, and I am half tempted to just take the risk of getting a ticket and park on the street infront of the school. Ain't no way mama is gonna get ehr hair messed up no more. (That was my attempt at being getto, I know it was bad.)

And I have to drive to work tonight and drive through two towns that flood really bad. So I am comptemplating telling them I cant drive through the great lakes and that I wont be able to make it there. Oh and bonus, my school parking lot is flat with no drains so it is pretty much flooded too, and I park forever away from the door. 

Enough about how much I am hating the rain today and how it totally messed up my hair. It is a knotted mess because it got wet and I didnt have a brush to brush it out with when I got into the school. And it is starting to curl up. *sigh*

I GRADUATE IN 57 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think anyone actually understands how excited I really am about this. No more high school, no more stupid people, no more working dumb hours, and no more home work!!!! Well at least until I start college June 11, but thats not the point. The point being that I am almost done with high school!

And next week is spring break, I mean I am staying in town but still its spring break people!

PS. sorry for my lack of posts. I had a 27 page econ paper due and I had to spend a lot of time working on that. Good news is its done and I never have to do it again.
